Henry Bjerke, only child of Jacobine & Karl Bjerke, lost his mother in child birth, and lost his father in the great war. He was raised by his grandparents. He married Nola Klingelhofer in 1930 and parented three children. The family moved from the Pelly, Saskatchewan area in 1941 to Vancouver, British Columbia. The pictures included in this album cover the period from 1940 to 1953.
